WE ARE SAXONS

(bum bada dum bum bum bum bum)

Inspired by J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series, quidditch is a sport that incorporates elements of rugby, handball, basketball, dodgeball, tag, and more. Created in 2005 in Middlebury, Vermont, the sport has evolved into an international phenomenon, with over 20,000 players in 45 countries.

Alfred University Quidditch was founded in 2012, and joined the Snow Belt Quidditch Conference as an expansion team in the same year. Competition with teams from New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Canada make quidditch the only sports club at Alfred University to play international matches.

In its three completed Snow Belt Conference seasons, Alfred has consistently finished with a mid-table seed.

Since its founding, Alfred Quidditch has held inclusivity in the highest regard. Every student at Alfred University or Alfred State College is welcome to participate, regardless of gender, physical capacity, or experience with quidditch or other sports.

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS ALFRED QUIDDITCH?
